My son Matthew had the privilege to have Susan Tobert as his reading and language arts teacher while he was at Alexander Elementary School. Mrs. Tobert challenged Matt to go outside his comfort zone and think outside the box, which was one of his weaknesses. She is very experienced at evaluating a student’s strength and weakness, and setting goals accordingly. As a parent, I loved her structure to keep Matt focused and on target with goals set for him. She supplied examples of work and marked his progress. She was very supportive and gave positive feedback. Mrs. Tobert answered any questions and concerns that I had. I believe if Matt didn’t have her in his early years, he would not have done as well with straight A’s and honor roll in the middle school. I highly recommend Susan Tobert for any tutoring services.
